SQUIRREL

After #123 Grey Squirrel was retired there was a need for a new Squirrel, so we created #147 Grey Squirrel which was not a realistic Squirrel but a comic one.
This Squirrel was made with a lighter Grey plush from Baxter, Kelly & Faust from their mill in Philadelphia, Pa. and stuffed with shredded foam rubber. The eyes and tongue were felt and the nose was a White pompon with a satin neck-ribbon. The tail was made of a medium length Grey plush that gave the effect of a bushy tail for the Squirrel.
This Squirrel design was quite similar to the Black and White Skunk design created about the same time.
